Graduating with a degree in Applied Math and working as a pension actuary for 6 years, founder Eddie wanted to pursue something more creative. Being in a family with roots in the jewelry industry, he transitioned to learning about diamonds, gemstones and eventually started designing his own pieces.

It wasn’t until having a conversation with his wife, that he realized much of the CAD work he does to create a design is mathematical. He was intrigued by the idea of connecting his background to his current passion and started experimenting with math and science concepts as the basis for his designs. He loved the idea of visualizing foundational principals into beautiful works of art and sharing it with the world.

Knowledge is universal. At The Settingstone Company, we strive to bring new meaning to jewelry through math and science concepts and teaching others through our jewelry. We also hope to be able to donate a portion of our profits that provide education benefits and funding to students who need help with education assistance.
